DGM-32M PANEL

The DGM-32M Series includes data gathering modules that monitor dry contacts. The unit communicates with the System 3505 Prism LX™ head-end via a dedicated cable pair. The System 3505 Prism LX™ polls all DGM panels for any change in status, which are then passed to the head-end. All status changes are held in memory by the DGM, even if the condition clears. Inputs are supervised so that any break in the input circuit will cause a “Trouble” condition to be reported by the zone.

The DGM-32M is suitable for an installation that will begin at 8, 16, or 24 and possibly expand later to 32 End-of-Line resistor alarm inputs without relay control requirements. Order this panel according to how many zones are desired initially: DGM-32-8, DGM 32-16, etc.

All models are housed in steel enclosures housing with a stepdown transformer, tamper switch, CAM lock, data link interface, 60 hour standby battery and built in charger. Each zone can be bypassed using the internal keypad. Out-of-service zones report their condition to the head-end equipment.

All DGM panels are normally powered by 117 VAC through the internal step-down transformer and use a 12 VDC battery as backup (when AC is the main source). Loss of AC power for more than 15 seconds is reported to the System 3505 Prism LX™ for display. The length of time before a loss of power is reported to the system can be set by the user for any value between 1 and 90 seconds. Should the battery voltage drop before a preset level, a “Low Battery” condition will be reported for display. In normal operation, the DGMs internal charger will keep the standby battery at full charge. Should a loss of power occur, all DGM panels are capable of switching from AC to battery power. The DGM-32M switches from AC to battery power without service interruption.
