DGM-32/64-RF

Product Information

DGM-32/64, 25” x 12” x 5” Enclosure

DGM-32/64, 25” x 12” x 5” Enclosure

The DGM-32/64-RF Series includes data gathering modules (DGMs) that monitor dry contacts. The units communicate with the System 3505 Prism LX™ head-end via polling radio, as indicated by the suffix –RF. The System 3505 Prism LX™ polls the DGM panels for any change in status, which is then passed to the head end. In addition to reporting all status changes to the System 3505 Prism LX™, the DGM panels hold the changes in memory—even after a condition clears. Supervised inputs report any break in the circuit as a Trouble condition by zone.

The DGM-32/64-RF is suitable for an installation that will start out at, or possibly expand later to, 64 end-of-line resistor alarm inputs without relay control requirements.

The DGM-32M-RF (M=8, 16 or 24) is suitable for an installation that will start out at 8, 16 or 24 and (or possibly or expand later to) 64 end-of-line resistor alarm inputs without relay control requirements. Order this panel according to how many zones are initially desired: DGM-32-8-RF, DGM 32-16-RF, etc.

The DGM-32/64-RLY-RF is suitable for an installation that will start out at (or later expand to) 64 end-of-line resistor alarm inputs with relay control requirements that can be purchased separately. The – RLY suffix indicates that the DGM can be equipped with relay control initially or in the future.

The DGM-32-MX-RLY-RF is suitable for installations that will not exceed 32 input zones relay control. Zones in the DGM-32-MXRLY-RF may be ordered in increments of eight (X=8, 16, 24 and 32), and can later be upgraded to include up to 32 zones. Order this panel model according to how many zones are desired initially.

All models are housed in steel enclosures with step-down transformer, tamper switch, CAM lock, data-link interface, LCD display, keypad, 60-hour standby battery, and built-in battery charger. Each zone can be bypassed by using the internal keypad. Any zone that is out of service reports its status to the head end equipment.

All panels are normally powered by 117 VAC through thin internal step-down transformer (12VDC backup). Loss of AC power for more than 15 seconds will be reported to the System 3505 Prism LX™ for display. That length of time can be changed by the user to any value between 1-90 seconds. Should the battery voltage drop below a preset level, a “Low Battery” condition will be reported for display. In normal operation, the DGM internal charger will keep the standby battery at full charge. Should a loss of power occur, all panels are capable of switching from AC to battery power without interruption in service.
