The DGM-16LS is a data gathering module. The unit communicates with the System 3505 head-end via a dedicated cable pair. Multiple panels can be monitored on a pair of wires. The DGM panel monitors 16 end-of-line resistor alarm inputs per DGM panel. Information is passed to the 3505 by a polling technique. Available with RS-485, audio, RS-232, fiber optic, radio polling, or high-level line driver communication.
The System 3505 polls all DGM panels for any change in status. All status changes are held in memory by the DGM, even if the condition clears. Inputs are supervised so that any break in the input circuit will cause a “Trouble” condition to be reported by the zone.
